The best part of my job is…

Watching these beautiful, inspiring women transform their lives, their health + their spirits.  Being witness to those ‘ah-ha’ moments of clarity, watching them come alive with radiance and feeling their love for themselves grow + develop with each session.

I get to support women as they come home to the person they have always been but never thought they deserved to be. That is a true blessing.

I chose to enter this field of work because…

I had been there. I was stuck in the misery of my own making. I felt lost, insecure + full of fear.

Coaching allowed me to reignite that spark within me. And after my own experiences, and my own transformation – I knew I wanted to support other women, just like me, to experience the same.

The funny thing is, without realising it, I feel I was always meant to do this work. During my first ever session with my first client, a little voice in my head said to me “Amelia, this is exactly what you are supposed to be doing”. I had found my purpose.

The greatest challenge in my career has been…

To actually start. I spent a long time not believing in myself and my abilities. I resisted A LOT. I allowed fear to really keep me safe. To actually put myself out there as a coach was a huge leap for me, but the moment I did it – I never looked back.

The funniest misconceptions about my industry/company/brand are….

I’m not too sure actually.

At the end of the day, I know who I am, and I whole-heartedly believe in what I do. Living an authentic life of integrity and honesty is incredibly important to me. My clients, my friends, my family + my readers all know what I value, and that is what counts.

The most influential person in my career has been…

Without a doubt, Rachel MacDonald. She was my first coach, my mentor + now my dear friend.

Rach was the person I went to when I felt really lost and unsure of which way to go. Through her support, I was able to find so much clarity around both the person I was, and the direction of my business. She really helped me to anchor in to the true essence of who I am.

If I could give one piece of advice to my 18-year-old self, it would be….

You are worthy. You don’t need to fit in anywhere – you already belong. You don’t need to wear masks or label yourself – you are perfect, just the way you are.
Stay true to yourself, Amelia, and always listen to your truth.

My greatest achievement has been…

My two children.

Motherhood is without a doubt, my greatest teacher. Through my children I have learnt so much about the person I am, and the person I want to be. They give me daily lessons on patience, love, presence + generosity. And I am forever grateful that they chose me to be their Mum.

From a business perspective, releasing my free e-book, Nurturing You, was a really big achievement. I wrote, designed and completed the entire thing – which is something I am very proud of.

The greatest personal challenge I have over come is…

The perception I had of myself.

For so long I was caught up in what I needed to look like, or who I needed to be in order to be popular and accepted. I thought that I was defined by what size my clothes were and which boy I was dating. There was a long time there, where I was really on a path of self-hatred. I had completely lost all sense of who I truly was.

But to be able to say that I now feel empowered and completely love + accept myself is something I am very grateful for, and never take for granted.

Amelia 2

I don’t understand why…

Women feel the need to hate on each other.

I try to relax by…

Meditating, having a bath with essential oils, or snuggling up on the couch with a movie + my beautiful family.

My biggest fear is…

That I won’t reach my full potential.

I can’t live without…

My husband + my children… and lip balm.

I really wish I had…

More hours in the day.

The greatest lesson I have learnt is….

That no matter what – we are ALL good enough. We are all special, and we all deserve to live a life of truth, connection, purpose + joy.

If I had one super power, it would be….

To fly! So I could see the world (and my friends who are interstate and overseas) on a whim.

If I could invite four people to a dinner party, they’d be…

Oprah Winfrey, Yogi Bhajan, Audrey Hepburn, the Duchess of Cambridge
