An Interview With Charlie De Haas

Charlie De Haas is one of the most dedicated, passionate, driven & hard working Entrepreneurs we have met in a very long time.  The commitment she has to the vision of her brand, ‘Clean Treats’, is seen in all of the actions she takes, every single day. A natural born #hustler & inspiration.

For those of you who are not familiar with this incredible lady, Charlie has been involved in the Health & Wellness industry for over ten years. She is the founder of the infamous ‘Clean Treats’ and also offers Health Coaching to assist people in finding their true passion & to cultivate self love. We were thrilled to sit down with Charlie & to learn how this all began!

The best part of my job is…

Creating a healthy change & making people smile

I chose to enter this field of work because…

I believe we can create change in the world, and it all starts with the food we eat and the thoughts we think.

The greatest challenge in my career has been…

Taking the risk from corporate to self employment. Having faith that I could create an income doing something I love.

The funniest misconceptions about my industry/company/brand are….

The term ‘natural’, its thrown around and there are huge discrepancies about what natural is in the food industry.

The most influential person in my career has been…

I have a few, currently Steve Trinder, creator/director of Green Tea X50. Anna Hopkins, founder of The Protein Bread Co, Steven Hines, Director Flush Fitness.
All people who have created companies, doing what they love.

If I could give one piece of advice to my 18-year-old self, it would be….

Trust who you are and your instinct.

My greatest achievement has been…

Depression. People don’t understand how debilitating it can be. When nothing is wrong you feel like everything is.

I try to relax by…

listening to music/breathing

My biggest fear is…

being alone.

I can’t live without…

I really wish I had…

A farm, that I could grow organic vegetables, have pets, a horse and The Clean Treats Factory and a health retreat.

The greatest lesson I have learnt is….

Be you, and be ok with who you are. You’re perfectly imperfect, and make mistakes, they’re only opportunities to learn.

If I had one super power, it would be….

To give love. To just touch someone or hold their hand and have them feel filled with love and the thought that life is beautiful.

If I could invite four people to a dinner party, they’d be…

George Clooney, Oprah, Dr Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle
